In Binance news today, the exchange will shut down Binance Pool and related services at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026, ending its Bitcoin mining operations on the platform.

Miners have been told to redirect their equipment before that cutoff, as the announcement says it will not accept, process, or credit later hashrate submissions and mining shares.

This news comes as BNB, the token closely linked to Binance and the BNB Smart Chain, trades for $740, down a modest -0.5% over the past 24 hours. Daily trading volume is sitting at $561M.

Binance News: What are the Key Details Miners Need to Know Before the Cutoff?

The closure affects Pool, Cloud Mining, Pool Savings and Transaction Accelerator, as well as Stratum connections, mining-pool APIs and email and Telegram alerts.

Users must move to another pool and close Pool Savings accounts before services end; eligible outstanding rewards or refunds will be handled under applicable product terms and compliance checks.

Transaction history will remain accessible until 07:00 UTC on November 24, 2026. Binance has not specified an automatic payout timetable or the precise mechanics for final settlements, so users should check the relevant product terms rather than assume balances will be paid out in a particular way.

The closure notice, reported by Binance across social media, frames the decision as part of a broader product review but does not explain the financial reasons. The operational deadline is clear; the rationale is not.

Got a Gut Feeling? It Could Pay Out Big on Polymarket

Binance Expands Trading Products While Closing Mining Services

Binance Pool began operating in April 2020 and promoted the Full Pay-Per-Share model for Bitcoin miners. Its shutdown ends a six-year mining presence, but the notice does not show that the exchange’s broader product expansion drove the decision.

At the same time, Binance is developing AI tools and traditional-asset trading. The exchange released a free AI market assistant on October 12 after a beta involving roughly 150,000 users; the tool provides market guidance rather than autonomous trading. Binance has also expanded into US. equities through Nest Trading and announced plans for physically settled options on more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs.

The Block reported that Binance’s TradFi perpetual-futures volume rose from $29.5Bn in January to $433.4Bn in August. That expansion provides context for the exchange’s changing product mix, but it does not explain why Binance shut down its mining pool.

In other Binance news, BNB was trading at approximately $740.27 on October 14, up 0.5% over 24 hours but still down 4.4% over the past seven days, according to CoinGecko.
The token’s market cap stands at around $98.57Bn, with daily trading volume reaching approximately $555.82M. BNB remains well below its all-time high of $1,369.99, reflecting recent selling pressure.
The $736–$718 region could provide near-term support, while resistance around $746 and $775 may challenge any bullish recovery.
A sustained move above these levels could strengthen momentum, whereas a breakdown below support would increase downside risks. BNB’s outlook will also depend on broader crypto sentiment and activity across BNB Chain, where growing ecosystem adoption could support demand.
However, declining trading volume suggests traders should remain cautious until stronger buying pressure emerges, with eyes on Bitcoin to signal the broader market’s next move.
